At the recent IDPA Indoor Nationals I was faced with many challenges including shooting low light and no light stages. There were three stages where a flashlight was used or seriously considered and boy was I glad to have mine.

I have always used a SureFire G2Z Led CombatLight. http://www.surefire.com/G2Z-LED-CombatLight. I personally use the cigar style method of holding the flashlight where I grip the flashlight between the index finger and middle finger of my support hand and push the activation switch with my palm. This keeps my ring finger and pinky finger free to help hold and support the gun. This also gives me plenty of versatility for reloading. When I go for my reload I can grip the magazine between my thumb and the knuckle of my index finger and reload while keeping the flashlight in my hand.

I have had this flashlight for 4 years and it has never failed me. I keep it in my gun bag and it has been to every match I have. It is great to always have good light if I ever need it.
