Copperhead Creek 3 gun match 3-8-2014

Built up a new rifle and got my Templar Tactical Nemesis30 in a few days ago…

What better way to test gear than hit a 3 gun match.

My first time out to Copperhead Creek range near Marble Falls, TX

What a GREAT range!

I was happy that all the gear ran great and I didn’t any major brain malfunctions.  I do these matches to test myself and the gear, to get trigger time and just to have a great time in the outdoors with good people.

I got the Templar Tactical Nemesis30 in on Wednesday from the Silencer Shop and then saw someone mention this match on Friday afternoon, a quick message to the boss for clearance and I had a green light (thanks baby!)

A quick run to the range Friday night to get a 100 yard zero and function test the rifle.  All good, I hadn’t used this Steiner 1-5 past 200 yards and so I had to just had to trust the BDC and adjust on the fly at the range.

If you want to check out the gear being used:

Rifle Pistol Shotgun

3 gunning with the Wilson Combat Spec Ops 9 Benelli 3 gun setup with Nordic Components Wilson Combat build with Ballistic Advantage Hanson barrel, Templar Tactical Nemesis30 and Steiner 1-5

I had the fastest run on the long range rifle stage. Not bad for a rifle I built the night before with XM193 and a scope I hadn’t shot past 100 yards.
