I guess this would be a long term review of a Victrinox Swiss Army knife. I’ve carried mine now for almost 15 years and it gets used just about every day. The stainless steel blades hold an edge better than most other manufacturer’s stainless blades. The other tools in the knife are just as valuable as the cutting edge. Especially the Phillips screwdriver and the scissors. Yeah, the Leatherman type mulitools may offer more stuff, like pliers, but they are much more bulky than a pocket knife. I used to carry less expensive knives, but they generally broke within a year or two, so I decided to get a better quality knife and have no regrets about that decision. Victrinox offers a bazillion options and styles of Swiss Army knives and with a little shopping you vcan find them from less than $20 for the more basic models to well over $100 for a knife with all the “bells and whistles”.
