Surefire G2 Nitrolon

Flashlights give us the power to hold and manipulate light wherever you go, but are you getting the most out of your flashlight? The Surefire G2 Nitrolon does the job for me. It is bright and does not get hot due to the polymer body which is a major plus.

Having the Surefire G2 Nitrolon does the job for me. It is bright and does not get hot due to the polymer body which is a major plus. mounted on my weapon is very comfortable and effective. The push-cap on the back makes it easy to turn on and off. And if you want to use the light contually, you can twist the cap clock-wise and it will stay on until either the battery runs out or if you turn the cap the opposite direction.

Battery life (2 123 batteries) is good (about 6 hrs) and the brightness is excellent(60 lumens). This is a very good light at an affordable price. I would recommend this light to almost anyone who is in need of a quality flashlight.

If your still using the Xenon bulb it came with then get on dealextreme.com and order the Cree R2 1 mode LED bulb at 225 lumen, you’ll have 4-5 times the light output, still have a hotspot and longer runtime. It will drop in by simply popping off the outer spring. Your other choice is a 450 lumen bulb on that site called the Cree XML T-6 bulb. No hotspot but unbelievably bright. Either way you’ll never want a xenon bulb again. I use them in ALL of my Surefires. Never had one break.
