Just purchased a beautiful rifle in the Ruger M77 MarkII in 220 Swift cal. Laminate stock and 23″ barrel. 44″ length overall. Took it to the farm and set up a target at 50yds. Fired off 10 rounds and hit a 2″ spread. My 13yo nephew had to try it also and he actually hit a better pattern than I did. This is a really nice and heavy varmit rifle. Very well made and the bolt functions flawlessly. I have been shooting a Savage 22-250 but this gun feels more balanced and solid. I would recommend this gun to pro and novice shooter alike.
