Lewis Machine & Tool Company (LMT) produces a great set of Flip Up iron sights. There are two different models – one calibrated for 7.62 ballistics on a rifle length system and one designed for a 62gr 5.56 carbine. The flip sights have a cam system that allows them to fold under light pressure but spring back into position. The positive detent firmly locks the sights in the up position.
They co-witness perfectly to my Trijicon MRO. Of course, they also fold flat when not in use.
The course aperture sight is 0.125 and the fine aperture sight is 0.0625. Rear sight is 1/2 MOA adjustment for height, 1/4 MOA adjustment for windage. Z Mark for Zero. The standard front post can be changed out with aftermarket posts.
The set weighs 0.278 pounds. Attach to rail using a standard flat head screwdriver. These are well made and solid. Best of all manufactured right here in the USA.
LMT is known for their high quality firearms, parts, and accessories so you would expect the LMT Flip Up sights to be top-notch – and they are. You can read our review of the LMT AR-10 .308 Modular Weapon System here.

Did you have a chance to actually test the accuracy of the ballistic range markings?
