This will be a review Of the Laserlyte K-15 Kryptonite. This product is a laser accessory of tactical carbines, precision rifles, shotguns, basically long guns. It so happens to be on my 16″ carbine length DPMS AR-15. The laser provides for 6 hours of continuos run time, it’s a light platform, easily mounte on to a 3″ rail system.

It also comes with an optional pressure switch for easier access on the weapon platform you place it on. Aluminum body makes it a tough piece of equipment, I believe the website says level 2 hardness, so it is a tough little piece of equipment. As far as the actual laser goes, during the daylight it can be seen for about 100 yards, I have confirmed that. At night it is supposed to be able to be seen from a mile away. I do not doubt that at all, I’ve shined it at the farthest 400 yards and it was still ridiculously bright.

Another fun fact, it is a very powerful laser you can actually see the laser streaming to the target it is being pointed at, something I have never seen with other laser systems encountered. The only real drawback to this awesome accessory is the fact that it is not water proof, it’s water resistant, but not exactly water proof. Not so good for our brave gents in spec ops, or in the whole military community dealing with water based operations in that matter. Other than that it is 9.5/10 laser sight, best of the best in its class on the market.

I have mine sighted in for 25 yards. My belief is that these lasers are more suited for CQB, but they can be sighted for much longer distances, like I said, at night the report is you can see it clearly from a mile away. I hope this review helps anybody who is looking into buying this laser system, this was just a very basic personal review and overview. Thanks!
