The LaserLyte Center Mass weapon sight allows the shooter to choose between a traditional single dot or the very cool Center Mass pattern. The Center Mass option projects a green center dot plus a ring of eight green dots for fast target acquisition. The dot pattern grows in size at approximately one inch per yard of distance. Like many men, I see a green laser way better than red especially in daylight conditions. The pattern is changed by removing (or replacing) an attached cap.
LaserLyte includes a remote pressure switch that plugs into the back of the unit. One press for momentary intermittent use – double-tap for constant on. The laser unit is solid in hand and has nice touches such as the battery cap being tethered so it isn’t lost in the field.
Visibility is awesome at night. I primarily intend to use the Center Mass laser for two scenarios – mounted to an SBR for night-time hog hunting and mounted to a self-defense shotgun for home protection. Mounts to any standard Picatinny rail. Weight is five ounces. Battery life is reputed to be six hours (constant on) on a CR123.
MSRP $219.95.
