The Crusader Blast Shield mounts to any of the Crux PMS brakes and flash hiders. It comes in two variations – with and without ports. Quality is what you would expect out of Curtis’ shop. First rate.

Personally, I have it mounted on a 5.56 shortie primarily as a thread protector. This is a gun I toss around in the truck and use as a PDW. The blast shield is quite loud, as you might imagine, but I always install my Nemesis 30 before heading to the range. Meanwhile, the Crusader keeps the PMS threads protected.
