Handguards are what protect a shooters hand when supporting a rifle or shotgun, and weight is a big concern for those who compete and hunt in all conditions. The MOE Handguard is of no concern weight-wise; perfect for a light, slick weapon. It is built strong and won’t fail any condition.

The MOE handguard is simple and plain, but looks very attractive. I am not too much of a quad-rail fan, but I do like to have rails on my handguard for grips, lights, and other accessories. Having 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock rail slots help off-set a light or laser, and allow the shooters hand to glide freely on the handguard to eliminate the feel of a bulky quad-rail

I currently have the Magpul MOE Handguard in the carbine size on my AR-15 and love the feel it has. It is very firm and “grippy” enough to use without hassle or worry. It is very light weight and looks really, really good.

Installation is a bit tricky to figure out, (top handguard all the way in, bottom front, and then bottom back) but once it’s on you feel no wobble, and you know that it won’t cause issues in the future. 5/5 for weight, performance, looks, and assembly. This is a great handguard, one I highly recommend.
