I was on the hunt for the perfect home protection pistol and I happened upon the Sig P250 in 40S&W. I saw it and immidiately fell in love with it. I am a lefty so I was impressed that it was almost completely ambidextrous. I am very comfortable around weapons, don’t have any children and didn’t mind that it doesn’t have a safety. This may be an issue for some.

The pistol itself had an immaculate fit and finish. I took it to the range the next day with a few boxes of federal ammo. The trigger was loose and kind of sloppy. You always knew where it was going to break sear but with it being a double action only pistol, it is a very long heavy pull. I was not impressed with the accuracy.
I am a decent shot, normally, but not with this weapon. I could not find a groove when shooting and was consistently shooting low. About 6 inches low at 30ft. So I let my father in law takes some practice with it with the same thoughts as me. He was also shooting low. So I let my brother shoot it again with the same results. Nobody felt like this weapon was built to the normal standard of a Sig. My brother brought his Sig P226 but we all actually enjoyed shooting that.
The P250 is a great looking pistol but leaves me wanting more on the accuracy and mostly on the trigger. I think that if they focused on making one pistol and not trying to make this a platform where you can swap the trigger around, they could have had a decent pistol instead of this great safe queen.
