Looking to turn your Benelli M2 into a multigun competition rig?  Nordic Components has got you covered.

I have been running my Benelli M2 for hunting for over 5 years with not a single malfunction irregardless of load, light, buckshot, slug.  All run 100%.  Slugs shoot to point of aim (Federal 2 3/4 blue box).  I decided I wanted to get it setup for multigun and did my homework on how to configure it.

Specs

Benelli M2 with Comfortech Stock (28″ original barrel length)

I decided to run a 24″ barrel as opposed to the 21″ to get a slightly longer sight radius, increased round capacity and better swing-through and less muzzle flip)

  • 24″ barrel (Ordered from Midwest GunWorks)

For the magazine extension tube it was clear that there but one choice.  There are several makers of these but Nordic’s version is lighter and by all accounts, the best.

  • Nordic Components +8 extension tube
  • Nordic Components barrel clamp
  • Nordic Components Teflon coated follower

Installation was straightforward, I removed the magazine cap, forearm, spring, follower and barrel.  I installed the new parts and cut the spring to the recommended length.

I also installed the oversized bolt  to facilitate faster reloads.

  • Nordic Components Big Bolt

While I was at it, I did the following work:

  • CRUM welded follower
  • Loading port opened up and beveled by me
  • HiViz competition fiber optic front sight

I went out for the initial function testing and had zero feeding issues with a wide variety of loads.  I also tested slugs and they hit to the same point of aim as before.

I have shot this gun in several competitions and it has ran 100% with no issues whatsoever.

I can absolutely recommend Nordic Components for the Benelli.
