I have spent the last 6 months using the Meopta MeoStar 10×42 HD binoculars in varying hunting conditions.
Am I impressed?
Yea, I am..
Like all the Meopta products I have tested they have spectacular glass.
The Meopta Meostar 10×42 HD binos are outstanding performers across all areas of concern.
Want great resolution? check..
What about low light capabilities? yes sir…
What about eye fatigue? Can you use them all day long without causing eye strain? yes, you can..
What about CA control?
What? Well, CA stands for Chromatic Aberration, in short it means there is color fringing, or there is noticeable color changes (like purple) around the edges of objects due to the colors effectively not being focused on the same focal plane..
This usually manifests itself in challenging light conditions like looking into a treeline with the sun setting..
The Meopta HD glass has none of this and you get very sharp, high contrast image all the way across the glass, from center to edges.
This contrast, especially useful in low light is something I have noticed in all the Meopta products I have tested. It really makes say a deer’s antlers stand out from say tree branches. It provides more “pop” or 3d effect, not a flat image where it all may be sharp and in focus, but lacks depth.
The Meopta MeoStar 10×42 HD Binoculars are easy to use all day long, have amazing glass and feel right in your hands.
In short, I am quite impressed with these binos, so much so I just couldn’t send them back.
