We spent some time with the good guys from the Silencer Shop recently and did several tests on rimfire cans. We intentionally left the DB meter at the shop as we really wanted to just get impressions from both the shooter and bystanders that had a lot of time shooting with suppressed weapons. Sometimes it is easy to get sucked into the whole “how well does it meter” debate. Perhaps sometimes it just doesn’t matter ?
