Looking at pistol cans?  Perhaps you have an AR in 9mm or an MP5, CZ Scorpion, etc.. that you want to suppress.  We take two popular silencers and do a comparison shooting both full power and subsonic loads out of a Wilson Combat AR9 pistol with an 8″ barrel.  Another installment of our reviews in partnership with the Silencer Shop.

The Bowers Vers 9s is intended for use on subguns, it’s designed to be ran hard on full auto.  The Griffin Armament Revolution 45 is a standard pistol silencer, our test unit was was for 45.  The Bowers is physically a larger silencer and therefore more internal volume which should make it quieter all other things being equal.  The Griffin Armament Revolution 45 has the ability to be configured to run on 9mm or 45 semi auto pistols with the correct piston or fixed mount like we are using in our testing.
