What could be more fun that shooting a suppressed 9mm with a red dot? Hmm..
Probably not much frankly..
I went out with the Silencer Shop guys yesterday and spent some quality time with a S&W M&P 9 with a Trijicon RMR and a Griffin Armament Revolution silencer.
This is an awesome can, great sound suppression.
This is a modular silencer that can be run in two configurations, the full length version or a shorter “K” version.
The shorter version is of course a little louder than the full length configuration as is expected, you can’t cheat physics, but there are times when the shortest, most compact setup is what’s needed and times when maximum sound suppression is what matters most. I like having the option of being able to choose myself and it is a super quick and easy conversion.
It can be setup with boosters for use on semi-auto pistols or with a fixed mount for sub-guns with a variety of mounting options for different host platforms as well as a standard 3 lug mount. They even offer a .22 cal end-cap. I love the whole modular approach that they are using. It’s completely user serviceable and easy to disassemble and reassemble including the baffles which maintain the same orientation to mitigate point of impact shifts. It can be ran wet and is full auto rated as well as 300 blackout subsonic use. Pretty cool, pistol can to AR out of one can.
I have come to like everything that these guys are putting out, haven’t found a bad product yet and I like that two brothers, both US vets own and run the company. I got a chance to meet Evan a few years ago on a hog hunt, good dude.
