Look for more on the Mark 4 12-40 spotting scope with the inverted H32 reticle.
As this scope needs to be mounted “upside down” I got a new head and some other upgrades to my Sniper Ops Tactical Tripod from Dave
I have been running the Sniper Op Tactical Tripod for some time and really like how well it works.
Recently I upgraded to a Leupold Mark 4 with the inverted H32 reticle which needs to be mounted upside down.
I went with the inverted H32 as it is sits in the bottom of the image and doesn’t obstruct your view like a centered reticle would.
In order to get the right clearance I needed the wider mount for the Sniper Ops Tactical Tripod.
I contacted Dave and he hooked me up with not only the new head (which allowed me to use my existing head to mount a range finder or camera) he also sent the top 1/4×20 mount that can be used for anything, I will be getting a Kestrel Weather vane for my 4500 NV. He also sent me the 3lb weight which threads onto the base of the unit for more stabalization if you add the extension tubes which will put the optic at eye height sitting on the ground if you are shooting off a bench. His attention to detail and build quality are amazing. This is a well thought out and perfectly executed piece of equipment that can last a lifetime.
