Team Rubicon was founded in 2010 when two Marines, Jake Wood and William McNulty, traveled to Port-au-Prince, Haiti to assist those affected by the earthquake. As the small group of volunteers crossed the river separating the Dominican Republic and Haiti, they tagged themselves “Team Rubicon.”

From that humble beginning, Team Rubicon has grown dramatically. Today, the organization includes military veterans, first responders, and disaster recovery specialists to provide emergency response assistance in the US and internationally. This includes 700 operations across 22 countries. Today, Team Rubicon is over 130,000 total volunteers strong!

I carry a Team Rubicon Go-Bag in my truck. This Go-Bag contains many of the necessities required to support a crisis – gloves, mask, first aid kit, MREs, phone charger, and other supplies.
