Wilson Combat makes some of the finest 1911 handguns on the market.  They have been building them for a long time and have a reputation for being well built, reliable and accurate.  As we all know, a big part of accuracy comes down to a good trigger.  You have can have the most mechanically accurate gun on the planet but if you have a crappy trigger, well, you’re not going to get the most out of the gun.  Please read my Wilson Combat 3 Gun Trigger review.

They also make great AR15s  and I have been shooting them for several years.  My first one, a 6.8 SPC came with a single stage TTU that has performed flawlessly with the proverbial glass rod break, no over travel and instant reset.  They introduced the 3 gun trigger and I have been shooting one for about a year.

The 3 gun trigger is ideal for shooting on the move and has an ever so slight “roll” to it that allows you to prep the trigger right before the clean break.  Great for shooting fast, engaging mulitple targets quickly and doing double taps.  It has a instant short reset, break is in the 3.5″lb range and very clean.  These Wilson TTUs are a true drop in, 3 minute job.  Push the two pins in holding your trigger, drop the TTU in and put the 2 pins back in.  No adjusting or having the adjustment screws back out.

I like the 3 gun version for 3 gun,/multigun competition and prefer the single stage TTU for a hunting rifle or long range precision just because I like the defined edge of the trigger break.

For shooting on the move the 3 Gun is probably the better choice as you are having to say sweep through multiple steel plates fast as you can start to squeeze /stage the trigger during transitions or shooting long range when out of breath and your heart rate up.

I have not had a single malfunction of any kind with the Wilson Combat TTU triggers.  I have turned several guys on to them after they felt my triggers that ordered their own.

I am putting another 3 gun build together and was considering all the options, well, I will be ordering another Wilson Combat, enough said.
