I have this scope mounted on a Savage model 10 precision carbine .308 and am very pleased with the result. The setup I am using allows me to hold 1/2-3/4 moa.  The scope has held a zero very well.  It gets used for precision shooting out to 500m (with enough moa adj using a flat base) as well as hunting deer in the fall.

It performs well in the cold and a variety of conditions.  The scope has not fogged up or allowed any water inside.  Being exposed to mud and dirt has not affected the scope in any way.  The only downfall I have experienced is that the windage turret adjustment feels “crunchy.”  The elevation adjustment is very smooth with positive 1/4 moa clicks.  I have yet to contact customer service about this to see if it can be repaired or replaced but it still seems to function well.

The illumination works on the scope but I haven’t found a use for it as the 50mm lens and 30mm tube lets in a lot of light.  The clarity is very good but does trail off slightly at the highest magnification setting.  Overall this is one of the best scopes I have used in the $300 price range, and would recommend to anyone looking to enter the precision shooting world on a budget.
